Hey, I’m Married…
So, the story of my life continues.
On Saturday, Eunice and I returned from South Korea from a long, eventful couple of weeks. We got "hitched" in Incheon at a wedding hall hidden on the 10th floor of an ugly skyscraper. The wedding was fun. I was hungry the whole time, but the streams of people never seemed to end. Our minister was late, and when he arrived, Eunice and I marched down the aisle together. I read my vows in Korean, and she read her vows in English. There was no "kiss the bride", but there were special effects (smoke, lights, sounds). Our friends who were there told us it was a Hollywood wedding.
I'm glad that round one is over. Round two will take place at First Christian Church in Lawton, OK on December 23rd. We'll have a simpler, sweeter service, and there will be a "kiss the bride." Talk to you all soon...
It’s a Good Rain.
Well, some mornings, you wake up and see the rain, and you sigh, wanting to just go back to bed and sleep the day away.
And some mornings, the rain means something else... like Somebody is cleaning something up. That's what it feels like here in DC this morning. It's time for a change.
Now that the Democrats have gained some control, it's time to keep them on task and back them with all sorts of support. Accountability and truth are what we need. Let's hope they can make it happen.
